☥ Ino Inono ☥
♦ Emissary of the Ram ♦

"Gifts from the ram god, one of many blessed to mine as its messenger."
• Wendigo, the Hunger of the Sands •
► Not much is known about the god Wendigo, and any further interrogations are met with vague prose by the caprine herself. A myth heard from few of Eorzea's deserts, and believed by fewer; it is the spiritual embodiment of hungers unsated, and the fiery urges that wake from it. Adorned by flames, feasts and taboos, etchings of this wicked yet benevolent guardian can be found on artifacts hidden deep beneath the sands, buried to time.

► It isn't uncommon for the plainsfolk to hear voices from the land, whether it be rumors passed from stones underfoot or warnings of impending dangers from the wind blown sand. Some would refer to it as madness, others a delusion, but to Ino these voices are tidings from "the great hunger", biblical in nature. The voices may idly chatter, or on some occasions lead her to locales for reasons unbeknownst to the scholar.

"Naught but a simple chronicler, I merely speak to the winds. Didst thou knoweth they often speak in return?"

• The Eccentric Caprine Book keeper •
► She began as a bibliophile hailing from La Noscea's fields, a plainsfolk who found her home in the covers of books and folklore, until her insatiable curiosity led to her acquisition of a cursed parchment leading to her transformation into the dunesfolk-like caprinae before you. Now possessed by a whispering god of the sands, she walks Eorzea as a prophet to this questionable deity unheard of. Her appearance often misleads the common passerby into questioning her plainsfolk name.

• Life before the "Metamorphosis" •
► Not much is known about her life prior to her awakening, even to herself memories of her past are vague, fleeting dreams. Like a puzzle missing a dozen pieces, her "memories" were pieced together by the few antiques she carries with her, donning the name "Inono Ino" in some instances. Scraps of bug eaten journal entries of unknown date tell of fantastical stories from all across Eorzea, handwritten and many scarcely believable leaving her life before the sands an enigma.

"I collect legends, and through my voice, those tales live another turn of the moon."
► As a Scholar, she is naturally drawn to written history, but she won't shy to scribe epics of her own through oral sources if need be. As one would find themselves fancying the fictional aisles of a great library, the goat Ino has a particular knack for engrossing herself perversely inside faux worlds, fictional heroes spanning pages of fables saving maidens and defeating great drakes by the back cover.

• Gifts from the Starving God •
► Though it makes for the majority of her god's benedictions, the whispers of the sand aren't alone in blessings left to her capriness. Her aether imbued by the ram god's soul, her affinity for fire aspected magic is particularly potent. As a mortal vessel, overuse of this magic can strain her aether dangerously.
►To amend this, she directs her spells through a gas emitting stave to partially mitigate the strain naturally generating flames alone would cause on her body over time. As a result, her fire control is extremely poor, yet dangerously potent as a result.
